Chamber music is a form of classical music, written for a small group of instruments which traditionally could be accommodated in a palace chamber. Most broadly, it includes any "art music" that is performed by a small number of performers with one performer to a part. The word "chamber" signifies that the music can be performed in a small room, often in a private salon with an intimate atmosphere. However, it usually does not include, by definition, solo instrument performances.

Renaissance Trio is comprised of a group of highly skilled and experienced musicians based in Southern California who provide beautiful, inspiring, quality music that adds elegance to any event! They are all accomplished musicians in their own right and are able to give solo concerts as well as high standard chamber performances. Their performances range from very private and informal gatherings to large, formal events including weddings, parties and other functions.

Although they are all classically trained, their repertoire not only includes classical, but also jazz standards, pop/ballad, broadway, sacred music, favorite wedding and party music, plus of course serious classical trios for their instrumentation.

Not only are they well-rounded in their accomplishments - all having bachelors degree and even masters - they exemplify a high standard of excellence and professionalism. At the same time they have the flexibility that great musicians should have.

They not only offer instrumental trio, instrumental solos, or instrumental duos (violin and flute, flute and piano or violin and piano) but also provide vocal solos and duets. A few short samples of the group's playing can be heard on the Music page and a demo can also be requested.
